I found something more serious because it is in fact written down: contracts to detect risks before they explode, receive timely information, analyze officials’ signals, coordinate high-level meetings, build relationships and manage a politician’s optics before the U.S. government.

1 · El cheque político. Los agentes extranjeros registrados no solo cobran: donan. US$33.5 millones en contribuciones políticas en el ciclo 2020 y US$14.3 millones más entre 2022 y 2023, con los principales receptores entre líderes de ambos partidos y cabezas de comités clave. México, además, ya estuvo entre los 10 países que más pagaron cabilderos en 2013, con Pemex Exploración y Producción, la SRE, Agricultura, Economía y el Consejo de Turismo (un solo contrato con Ogilvy: US$4.5 millones).1 · The political check. Registered foreign agents do not just charge: they donate. US$33.5 million in political contributions in the 2020 cycle and US$14.3 million more between 2022 and 2023, with the main recipients among leaders of both parties and heads of key committees. Mexico, moreover, was already among the 10 countries that paid the most for lobbyists in 2013, with Pemex Exploration and Production, the Foreign Ministry, Agriculture, Economy and the Tourism Board (a single contract with Ogilvy: US$4.5 million).

And one more piece of the climate: in May 2026 the PRI leader filed a formal petition with the State Department to designate Morena as a foreign terrorist organization. The petition exists and is public; its accusations are its author’s and have not been proven in court.

The finding demolishes the official version: it is not that Morena arrived in Washington in 2026. And that is not innocence: it is proof that they learned to move influence for the 4T without putting the name the registry would force them to use.
